TELEPHONE DOOR ENTRY SYSTEMS
Telephone based door entry systems are superior in every respect to conventional hardwired door entry systems. They automatically provide a range of features to users that cannot be made available using any type of conventional door entry.
Most importantly, there is full compliance with Disability Discrimination Act requirements because the elderly, disabled, hearing impaired and visually impaired can also use the system. This is not the case with conventional door entry systems.
Residents simply provide the system installer or management company with their telephone numbers - landline, mobile and PAYG - which are then uploaded into the TVTEL telephone door entry panel. Updating of the TVTEL telephone door entry panel with phone numbers for residents is effected by remote dial up connection. When visitors press a button to call a resident from the TVTEL telephone door entry panel, the system simply speed dials the preprogrammed telephone numbers. Residents answer on their normal telephones - landline, cordless, mobile and PAYG. To open the door or gate for their visitor, the resident simply presses the 0 button on the handset. It really could not be simpler.
